FLAGS OF REMEMBRANCE: THE SANILAC COUNTY FLAG PROJECT

The Sanilac County Flags of Remembrance Project is designed to memorialize our deceased veterans, as well as honor our living veterans, who have Sanilac County roots. A one-time $200 contribution will allow for a special tribute to your veteran. The veteran's name will be engraved on the Sanilac County Wall of Honor monument at the Sanilac County Courthouse. Please note that the engraving process only happens once a year. In addition to this, the project also supports the additional monument on the courthouse property, as well as the hundreds of American flags that are displayed generously by our local National Honor Society students around the following dates: Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Patriots Day, Veterans Day, & possible special tribute dates. Thank you for your support!
